It's Time to Rebuild

Toledo Ohio, was always a great place to live and raise a family.
It may have fallen short of being a major successful city, it was successful in its own for being so livable.

People settled here from all over  and raised there families and enjoyed this City. 

Now we have a city of foreclosured homes and fewer jobs.

Toledo was hit by an economic  storm several years ago and hasn't begun its healing process.

Our city streets are lined with vacant homes where families and neighbors onced lived. Where children studied and played. Now are faded into just a memory.
These houses are either "stripped " or sold at below market price to investors for rentals.

Remember that after every storm Will come a time to heal and a time to pray and a time to rebuild.

It's time to rebuild.

In order to change the direction we need new leaders. 

We must reinvest and reinvent.

This September, we have an opportunity to elect 3 new members to City Council

I ask for your vote so we can begin to rebuild.

About Me

Hello, My name is Alex Rivera,and I am running for Toledo City Council. I am a conservative Christian who believes in reducing government and protecting the Constitution. I am running because I feel that this city cannot improve if we continue electing the same politicians. It's time to take back Toledo. When elected I will work with neighborhood groups to help them improve their neighborhoods and will look to renovate abandoned homes. One thing I would like to see is a Drug Court started. I believe it will ultimately be a good thing for many people. I will also look to expand manufacturing jobs in Toledo. My opponents are set in their political careers.
